One year ago, on May 5, 2013, Brittany and Ash took their vows to become husband and wife. The ceremony, with maracas in hand, took place on the gorgeous lawn at the Enzian Theater on Cinco de Mayo! Brittany and Ash celebrated the day with their closest friends and family. It was so much fun! In honor of their first anniversary, I asked the newlyweds (and expecting parents!!!) to look back on their wedding and share why a few photos are so meaningful to them.
Ash wrote… “We love the photo of us with the Hoboken crew. I don’t really have much to say about it other than a conversation I had with my Dad. He gave me a big hug and said “you’re so lucky you have so many good friends.” I said, “I am lucky because they’re not good friends, they’re the best.” I’m only sorry some other friends weren’t in it or couldn’t make it as they’re equally as special.”
“We also really like the one with us holding maracas. That and the one where Brittany and I are laughing and touching after stuffing the cupcake into my mouth. It shows how lovely and photogenic she is and how much fun we have together. Nothing in the world makes me happier than putting a smile on her face or making her laugh.”
They also wanted to share a photo of their bridal party and family because of how much it meant to have all of them there on their wedding day!
Happy first anniversary, Brittany and Ash! Thank you again for letting us document your beautiful wedding day.
We are so excited for you as you start your upcoming journey as Mom and Dad!
