Meet the newest addition to the Miller family, baby Jackson! He is absolutely precious and his big sister is his biggest fan. I had the privilege of documenting this beautiful family’s newborn session a few months ago. Their house is a dream! I know Allison (the beautiful mama) through our local Mom’s club and it’s been such a treat to watch her transition from one child to two. She is such a gentle, nurturing woman and I love watching her as mama to her two sweet babes. I’m always encouraged after spending time with her, especially as my own family is preparing to welcome a new baby soon.

Pauline and Matt – Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast Wedding

So excited to share with you the new Mr. and Mrs. Dockins!! Pauline, a PE/health teacher, and Matt, an engineer, met through the mountain bike racing community. Yes, there is mountain biking in Florida! Through their many common interests, especially cycling, they fell in love. They even got engaged in the middle of a trail during a bike ride together. I love how they thoughtfully included their love of cycling in their wedding day, mostly Matt’s big entrance into the ceremony and Pauline hopping on her bike in her wedding dress and shoes for a few photos. Their wedding day at Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast was full of love, support, laughter and a beautiful ceremony under a huge, gorgeous oak tree. It was such a joyful day! I also loved getting to see my past wedding couple and friends Kristin and Zach at this wedding!

Meet sweet little Caroline! Tara and Austin, along with big brother Bradley, welcomed their precious daughter this summer. I had the privilege of documenting this beautiful family at the end of July and it was the sweetest session! Mama Tara just exudes beauty and grace. We taught at the same school together a few years ago. She is such a wonderful and creative teacher and it was so much fun to watch her be mama in her home with her toddler and new baby girl. Fall 2019 Tampa Mini Sessions

Happy Fall! This is one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is getting cooler, the holidays are approaching, and there are so many opportunities for families to create meaningful memories. And it’s family mini session time!! These sessions are meant to serve as an easy and affordable opportunity to capture updated images for all types of families – couples, dog parents, families with one baby or multiple grown children, newlyweds, expecting parents, a group of besties! Let’s get you and your loved ones in front of the camera and create some memories! 

Fall 2019 Family Mini Session – $150
 – 20 minutes (perfect length for the kiddos!)
– At least 20 high-resolution, edited images delivered in an online gallery
– Gallery delivered within one week of session

I will be offering family mini sessions at three locations this year – Highland Park near Westchase, Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, and Water Works Park in downtown Tampa. Scroll down to see photo examples of each location.

Once you click on the calendar, you’ll see remaining available dates and times. Enter your information, submit, and your session will be reserved. I will then send you a follow up email with more details. So excited!!

Alena – Orlando Newborn Photography

This precious little lady is Alena, the newest addition to the Geers family. Andrew and Alisa welcomed their first child in late June and are so in love. Andrew and Alisa are currently serving as medical missionaries in Honduras and spent the summer in Orlando with Alisa’s parents as they awaited the arrival of their sweet baby. They spent Alena’s first few months learning how to navigate life as a family of three before they headed back to Central America. I am so impressed by this sweet family. They have hearts of gold and are doing big, beautiful things. You can follow along on their family’s journey on their blog. It was such a treat to photograph their family (including both sets of Alena’s grandparents!) when they were home in Orlando. Enjoy Alena’s newborn session!

Samantha and Leo – Honeymoon Island Elopement

Samantha and Leo are married!! It was the perfect evening on Sunday as Samantha and Leo became husband and wife while their precious son, Dominic, watched with the biggest smile. Honeymoon Island was the perfect backdrop for their sandy ceremony and sunset portraits. Samantha and I are in the same Mom’s Club and our sons are just a month apart. We have gotten to know each other over the past two years and I am so thankful for our friendship. She is a wonderful mom, kind friend, creative small business owner, and now a loving WIFE! So excited for this sweet family! Enjoy a few photos from their beach elopement.

My 30th Birthday!

Today is my first day in a new decade. HELLO THIRTY! I’m embracing the new age and feeling good that I’m on the young side of a decade rather than being on the older side. 😉

When I reflect back on my 20s, my heart feels overwhelmingly grateful. It was such a sweet experience writing up this blog post and finding old photos on our hard drive. It was difficult to summarize ten years of life… so much happened! I am thankful for photos and big life events that help organize time!

In 2009, I turned 20. I was two years into college at UCF and spent the year learning, student teaching, meeting new friends, serving in my sorority and dating my high school boyfriend long distance. Later that same year, David got down on one knee and proposed to me in front of the Disney fireworks. Best surprise ever!

In 2010, I turned 21 and had too much fun drinking my first martinis that night. David and I spent one last year at different schools until our crazy exciting May of 2011. He graduated with his EE degree (electrical engineering) at UF the first weekend in May, I graduated the next weekend with my EE degree (elementary education) at UCF, and then we got married at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on Friday the 13th. I was 21 and David was 22. We jumped on a cruise ship for our honeymoon and then road tripped out to Fort Collins, Colorado for David’s summer internship. It was a wonderful summer of hiking, exploring, and enjoying being newlyweds.VIEW POST

Welcome to the world, beautiful Josephine Madeline! I have known Julie since the beginning of high school and it has been so SO fun to watch her fall in love, get married, and now become a mama to Josie Lynn! Julie and Chandler are now parents to a precious little lady. I had an awesome solo adventure day in July and flew to Raleigh, NC to see and photograph this new family of three. So thankful for the opportunity to capture such sweet memories for my friends!! Julie and Chandler, I love your family and am so excited to watch Josie Lynn grow up. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!!
